Salesforce Admin Training program in Perth

Two21 have decided to trial a free Salesforce Admin Training program to enable more WA residents to become Salesforce Certified Administrators. This is an initiative as that supports our V2MOM and our 1% Pledge.

The training will start on 7 September 2021 and occur Tuesday nights at 6pm (to 7pm). There are 12 one hour online classes following the format below. There is additional homework via Trailhead but this the agenda that we support.

Our idea is to provide support for new Trailblazers who want to get certified and supporting NFPs who are using Salesforce. After certification, Two21 will support these new certified administrators get work experience via pro bono projects for NFPs.

What’s the catch?

  • Training is offered to West Australia based participants only. (We may extend further but this is our first attempt.)
  • One person per NFP.
  • We have limited spots.
  • This training is to get you certified so the cost is a $200 USD exam.
  • This is the first time we have run this training. The journey might be a bit bumpy at times but we need your feedback to improve. The program may change as required.

About the Power of Us

Two21 attended the FIA WA Fundraising Forum last week and we found a number of Perth based NFPs do not know about the Power of Us program by Salesforce. This program donates ten free licences to eligible NFPs, which is generally those with the ability to receive tax deductible donations.

The typical uses for the Salesforce Non Profit Cloud (or NPSP) are:

  • Donor Engagement
  • Donation Management
  • Marketing and Community Engagement
  • Volunteer Management
  • Grants Management

The training can be preparation for a new fundraising system ready for Feb 2022. Two21 have a standard Fundraising accelerator and this training will help any NFP be able to support the new solution.
